Homeopathic Remedies for Blindness

Blindness is loss of vision. It may be congenital (from birth) or acquired (due to some eye disease, etc.).

Blindness from birth, blindness from smallpox, eruptions in the eyes and blindness due to lightening can be cured by surgical procedures only. Temporary blindness can be treated by the following remedies:

Gelsemium (One dose only): Blindness from excessive watering of eyes as from weeping.

Lycopodium (One dose only): Blindness at night.

Physostigma (One dose only): Night blindness.

Ranunculus bulb. (One dose only): Sudden blindness during day or night of the pregnant woman.
