Homeopathic Remedies for Fainting
Aluminium met. 200 (Twice a day): Coma in diabetes because the amount of sugar in blood becomes negligible.
Ammonium carb. (Thrice a day): Fainting due to depression of spirits with a weeping tendency.
Amylenum nit. Q (Twice a day): Inhalation of this remedy during paroxysms of asthma, epileptic seizure, angina pectoris, migraine, etc. gives immediate relief.
Arnica mont. (Thrice a day): Coma due to an accident, fall or injury.
Asafoetida (Thrice a day), Sepia (Thrice a day): Hysterical fainting.
Baptisia (Thrice a day): Coma during typhoid fever.
Baryta carb. (Thrice a day): Coma on account of brain hemorrhage.
Camphora Q (Thrice a day) At 15 minuteтАЩs interval: In emergencies, it is a very good stimulant of the heart. It is also a satisfactory remedy for sub-normal temperatures and low blood pressure. Three drop doses on a lump of sugar (never in water) repeated at 15 minute intervals produces the desired results. Smelling of this remedy is equally useful. Body is icy cold, but the patient does not desire to be covered.
Dextrose or Sugar (Thrice a day): Coma due to an over-dose of insulin is cured by a few grams of sugar given dry on the tongue to be sucked or may be given dissolved in water. In such cases, urine is sugar free.
Gelsemium (Thrice a day): Coma in cerebro-spinal meningitis.
Helleborus (Thrice a day): Coma due to injuries or blows on the head.
Hepar Sulphuris (Thrice a day): Fainting due to pain.
Hydrocyanicum acidum (Thrice a day): Coma on account of brain congestion or after an epileptic fit.
Lachesis (Thrice a day): Coma during labour.
Moschus (Thrice a day): Fainting due to a slightest excitement.
Nux mosch. (Thrice a day): This remedy may be given to a person who faints easily and often from a little exertion like standing or even evacuating.
Opium (Thrice a day): Coma on account of strenuous breathing, and due to a shortage of oxygen. Involuntarily urination or when frightened.
Ranunculus bulb. (Thrice a day): Coma on account of too much use of alcohol.
Veratrum alb. (Thrice a day): Fainting due to least exertion with cold sweat on the forehead.
