Homeopathic Medicine for Corns and Warts
Acidum phos. (Thrice a day): Very painful corns.
Acidum salicylic. Q Local application: A solution of salicylic acid made with 1 part of the acid and five parts of water can be painted at bed time every third night. It often cures.
Antimonium crud. (Thrice a day): It is a general remedy for recent corns which are hard and inflammed.
Ferrum pic. 3 (Thrice a day), Radium brom. 30 (Thrice a day): These two remedies given alternately each week to cure corns which are of a yellowish color.
Graphites (One dose daily): Corns with deep cracks.
Hydrastis (Thrice a day): Corns of toes which reappear after cutting.
Nitricum acidum (Thrice a day): Inflammed and ulcerated corns.
Radium brom. (One dose only) Repeat after 15 days: A dose of 30 potency a fortnight is effective in all kinds of corns.
Selenium met. (Twice a day): Inflammed corns on the soles of feet.
Sulphur (One dose daily): Remedy for soft corns due to pressure of shoes.
Veratrum vir. Q Local application: Painted on inflammed corns gives rapid and perfect relief.
Thuja occ. (Twice a day): It is a remedy for sensitive corns.
Wiesbaden 200 Every fourth day: By using this remedy, one dose every fourth day, corns and callosities drop off. Indicated in burning and painful soft corns, especially between the toes.
NOTE: Corns are formed by pressure or friction or both from ill-fitted shoes. These can be hard or soft. Hard corns usually occur on the outer surface of the feet and soft occur between the toes where they are kept soft by moisture between the toes. It is essential that properly fitted shoes of soft leather or of other material should be used along with the treatment.
