Homeopathic Medicine for Glaucoma – Hardening of The Eyeball
Colocynthis (Thrice a day): Pain in the eyeballs before glaucoma has set in. Sensation as if eyeballs would fall out. When the pain travels to the head and is better by pressure. It acts as a good palliative.
Comocladia den. (Thrice a day): Eyes feel large and protruded specially at night. Feels as if pressed outward. Sense of fullness. Eyeballs seem to be large.
Conium mac. (Thrice a day): Sensation of pressure in the eyes when reading, writing or doing any fine work.
Eserinum 6x (Thrice a day): Dilatation of pupils with hardening of the eyeballs.
Gelsemium (Thrice a day): Dilatation of pupils, disturbed accommodation, pain in eyes, with or without lachrymation.
Phosphorus (Twice a day): Thrombosis of retinal vessels and degenerative changes in retinal cells.
Spigelia (Thrice a day): Pains sharp and stabbing through the eye and head, worse on motion and at night.
NOTE 1: This disease is better treated by an ophthalmologist because Surgery is often needed in such cases.
