Homeopathic Medicine for Hawking
Aesculus hip. (Thrice a day): Hawking with expulsion of ropy mucus which tastes sweet.
Argentum nit. (Thrice a day): Much thick mucus in the mouth which causes hawking. Sensation of a splinter in the throat. Hawking in smokers.
Arum dracontium 1c (Thrice a day): Hawking. Continued disposition to clear the throat. This remedy is more indicated when the throat is sore and raw, and there is hoarseness.
Arum triph. (Thrice a day): Constant hawking.
Aurum met. (Thrice a day): Stitches and pain in the throat cause the patient to hawk.
Causticum (Thrice a day): Hawks to expel mucus under the sternum as it is hard to expel.
Euphrasia (Thrice a day): Hawking up of offensive mucus with bland coryza.
Geraninum 1x (Thrice a day): Constant hawking and spitting in elderly persons.
Hepar Sulphuris (Thrice a day): Hawks to expel mucus. Sensation of a splinter in the throat.
Kalium bich. (Thrice a day): Stringy and ropy mucus is expelled on hawking.
Lachesis (Thrice a day): Chronic sore throat with much hawking. Mucus sticks and cannot be forced up or down.
Mercurius bin iod. (Thrice a day): Constant desire to swallow and hawk.
Phytolacca dec. (Thrice a day): Hawking on account of a sensation of a lump in the throat. Greyish white thick, tenacious yellowish mucus difficult to dislodge.
Selenium met. (Thrice a day): Hawking and raising transparent lumps of mucus every morning.
Silicea (Thrice a day): Hawks to remove sensation of a pin pricking in the tonsil.
Spongia (Thrice a day): Cleans throat constantly. Tickling causes cough. Dryness of the throat.
