Homeopathic Medicine for Erysipelas – Hot, Red, Edematous, Brawny and Sharply Defined Eruptions
Ammonium carb. (Thrice a day): Erysipelas of seniles.
Apis mel. (Thrice a day): Erysipelas of the new born near the navel and due to an injury.
Arsenicum alb. (Thrice a day): Erysipelas accompanied with low fever.
Calendula off. (Thrice a day): Erysipelas due to injury.
China off. (Thrice a day): This generally aborts the diseases if given at the onset. Curative in simple and recent cases.
Crotalus hor. (Thrice a day): Erysipelas which threatens to become gangrenous.
Graphites 6 (Twice a day): It is a preventive of recurring erysipelas, which discharges a glutinous fluid which is thin and sticky. The erysipelas threatens to suppurate.
Hepar Sulphuris (Thrice a day): Useful when suppuration occurs.
Rhus tox. (Thrice a day): The skin at the point of erysipelas and around is very red. The patient is restless and thirsty. Fever may accompany the swelling and itching. Erysipelas commencing from the left side and spreading towards the right side.
Silicea (Thrice a day): Chronic erysipelas which refuse to heal.
