Homeopathic Medicine for Freckles – Lentigo
Freckles are yellowish or brownish pigmentations on the exposed parts of the skin, especially in persons of light complexion. The pigmentation increases in number on exposure to the sun.
Badiaga (Thrice a day): Freckles on the skin anywhere.
Caulophyllum (Thrice a day): Discoloration of the skin of the face in women with menstrual and uterine disorders.
Cimicifuga (Thrice a day): Facial blemishes in young women.
Kalium carb. (Thrice a day): Discoloration of the skin of the face specially after child birth or loss of vital fluids.
Lycopodium (Thrice a day): Freckles worse on left side of the face and nose.
Natrium carb. (Thrice a day): Freckles. Yellow spots on the face. Blue ring around the eyes.
Natrium hyposulph. Q (Twice a day): Use locally and internally for removal of yellow and brown spots.
Sepia 1OM (One dose only): Yellow blotches on the face. Yellow about the mouth. Saddle-like brownish distribution on the nose and cheeks. Circumscribed discoloured skin spots in young women.
Thuja occ. (Twice a day): Dry skin. Circumscribed brown spots on the face and elsewhere on the skin.
Vanadium 6 (Thrice a day): Black freckles overhead and nose – with hypotension and weight loss.
NOTE: When the discoloration patches are dark or blackish in color, often found in dark skinned women, during pregnancy or menopause, the condition of the skin is called “Melasma” or in laymans language, “Tan”. Melasma does not lead to melanoma which is an aggressive type of cancer.
