Homeopathic Medicine for Gangrene
Death of a tissue due to deficient blood supply or absence of blood supply. For healing, it is necessary that the dead matter is removed.
Acidum mur. (Thrice a day): Gangrene of the cheek. Frequent, foul eructations. Vomitus foul and dirty.
Acidum sulph. (Thrice a day): Blue and purple surroundings of the gangrene. Bleeding under the skin. Gangrene after an operation or after mechanical injuries.
Arsenicum alb. (Thrice a day): Diabetic gangrene. Burning, fetid smell from the wound. Dry, specially of the uterus and lungs, better warmth.
Baptisia (Thrice a day): Gangrene of the cheek. Symptoms like typhoid.
Carbo veg. (Thrice a day): Carbuncles and boils become gangrenous, wet, purple and icy cold.
Crotalus hor. (Thrice a day): Wet gangrene; emits a foul smell and oozes freely.
Echinacea Q (2 hourly): Gangrene, emitting a foul smell. Use 10 drops in an ounce of luke warm water locally as a cleaning and antiseptic wash and 5 drops in a little water every two hours, internally.
Kreosotum (Thrice a day): Specially of lungs and uterus, particularly in old age. Foul smell. Better warmth.
Lachesis 200 (Twice a day): Bluish purple surroundings of the gangrene. Gangrene produced on account of injuries on septic wounds.
Secale cor. (Thrice a day): Dry gangrene of toes. Dusky blue tinge. Skin feels cold to touch yet covering is not tolerated.
Tarentula cub. (Thrice a day): Painful and inflamed abscess with tendency to gangrene.
