Homeopathic Medicine for Heels
Acidum tart. 3x (Thrice a day): Pain in soles and heels.
Allium cepa (Thrice a day): Ulcers on heels due to friction of the heels with shoes, etc. It is also useful for blisters on the feet.
Ammonium carb. (Thrice a day): Pain in heels on standing with tenderness. Cramps in calf and soles. Big toe painful and swollen.
Antimonium crud. (Thrice a day), Lycopodium (Thrice a day): Fissures on the heels.
Aranea diad. (Thrice a day): Pain in bones of heels. Sensation of swelling. Heels go to sleep.
Aristolochia clem. (Thrice a day): Stitching pains in the heels and itching.
Arsenicum alb. (Thrice a day): Ulcers on heels with burning pains.
Berberis vulg. 200 (Twice a day): Pain in the heels relieved by putting the entire weight of the body on them. Pain of the heel as if ulcerated.
Borax (Thrice a day): Pain in heels. Burning pain in great toe. Inflammation of the bulb of toes. Stitches in soles.
Calcarea caust. (Thrice a day): Tearing pain in the left heel.
Colchicum autum. (Thrice a day): Gout of the heel. Cannot bear to have it touched or moved.
Cyclamen (Thrice a day): Burning sore pains in heels – better by moving about, massage and warmth, worse sitting or standing and by a cold bath.
Graphites (One dose daily): Cracks in heels.
Kalium carb. (Thrice a day): Pain in the right heel.
Lathyrus sat. (Thrice a day): Heels do not touch the ground when walking. Walks on the fore part of the feet.
Lycopodium (Thrice a day): Pain in the heels like pebbles under them on walking or putting weight upon them.
Malandrinum (Thrice a day): Fissures and chaps in the heels in winter and from washing.
Petroleum 200 (One dose daily): Stitching pains in the heels as those by splinters. Heels rough with cracks and fissures. Worse in winter.
Phaseolus (Thrice a day): Gout of heels accompanied with diabetes.
Phytolacca dec. (Thrice a day): Aching of heels relieved by elevating feet. Pains like electric shocks.
Pulsatilla nig. (Thrice a day): Pains in heels like pricking of nails. Puts the feet outside the blanket to cool them as coldness has a pleasing effect on the pains.
Ranunculus bulb. (Thrice a day): Acute pain in heels. Pulsative stitches in the left heel when standing.
Silicea (Thrice a day): Tearing pain in heels due to sprained ankles.
Valeriana (Thrice a day): Stinging pain in heels when sitting.
NOTE: One common cause of heel pain is inflammation of the plantar fascia, a band of tissue along the bottom of the foot. It is caused by wearing shoes that donтАЩt provide proper support to the plantar fascia. This pain is reduced by applying ice, first thing in the morning or after a rest.
