Homeopathic Medicine for Infant’S Diseases
Aethusa cyn. (Thrice a day): Milk is not digested and is vomited out. Indigestion. Troubles worse in hot weather. Ill-effects of over-feeding of babies.
Aloe soc. (Thrice a day): Involuntary stools. Soon after feeding, the child cries feeling uneasy and having liver pain.
Calcarea ars. (Thrice a day): Enlarged liver and spleen – especially if the child had malaria.
Calcarea phos. (Thrice a day): Infant wants to nurse all the time and vomits easily. Complaints during teething. Diarrhea; stool green, slimy, hot and sputtering, undigested with foul smelling gas.
Chamomilla (Thrice a day): Diarrhea. Stools green, watery, slimy and fetid containing yellow mucus. Soreness of anus. Colic and restlessness.
Cina (Thrice a day): Stools contain pieces like popcorn. Colic before passing stool. Child touches his anus frequently as it itches. He is restless and wants to be rocked.
Pulsatilla nig. (Thrice a day): Ill-effects of eating rich, fatty, non-vegetarian foods, chocolates, etc.
Sambucus nig. (Thrice a day): Cold. Cannot breathe easily. Nose blocked. Loose cough which can choke.
Senna (Thrice a day): Lot of wind. Child appears full of wind. Enlarged liver. Constipation with colic. Loss of appetite.
Sulphur 6x (One dose daily), Calcarea phos. 6x (Four times a day): If a woman gives birth habitually to babies who die soon after birth or early in infancy, give these medicines one dose each, daily during the last two months of pregnancy. The child should be given Alfalfa Q, 5 drops, three times a day for several months before 10 minutes of each feeding.
