Homeopathic Medicine for Post Surgery Healing
Abrotanum (Thrice a day): Sensation of pressure after an operation of the chest for pleurisy or other chest diseases.
Aceticum acidum (Thrice a day): It removes weakness after Surgery.
Allium cepa 200 (Twice a day): For after-effects of Surgery in which mucous membranes are cut as in the Surgery of intestines.
Beilis per. 3x (Thrice a day): It is of use when nerves or deeper tissues are injured in a major Surgery. There is much soreness and aggravation after a cold bath.
Calcarea fluor. 6x (Four times a day): After surgeries, its use hastens the joining of the two parts together.
Calendula off. (Thrice a day): Injuries to eyes on operation or otherwise – which tends to suppuration.
Causticum (Thrice a day): Retention of urine after an operation.
Chamomilla (Thrice a day): Nausea and vomiting after an operation due to the use of morphia.
China off. (Thrice a day): Flatulence with pain after an operation. There is no relief after passing gas and where there has been loss of blood or other fluids.
Collinsonia (Thrice a day): It is of special value when given before operations for rectal diseases. Does not allow complication to arise after the operation.
Colocynthis (Thrice a day): Spasmodic contractions of the urinary bladder after operation of the orifice, entrance or outlets to any aperture. Agonising pain in the abdomen compelling the patient to bend double.
Hamamelis Q (Twice a day) 10 drops in ┬╜ cup of water: Relieves pain and weakness from loss of blood in an operation.
Hypericum (Thrice a day): Relieves pain after an operation. Often substitutes the use of morphine.
Millefolium (Thrice a day): For complaints after surgical removal of stones.
Phosphorus 200-1M (One dose only): A single dose given a day before the abdominal operation will prevent nausea and other distressing symptoms after the operation.
Raphanus (Thrice a day): Post-operative gas pains are removed by the use of this remedy.
Rhus tox. (Thrice a day), Pyrogenium (Thrice a day): Post-operative complications. Look for other symptoms of the remedy.
Staphysagria (Thrice a day): Abdominal pains, after its operation and when there has been loss of fluids.
Strontium brom. (Thrice a day): It relieves shock of an operation and revives the patient who may have a cold body and profuse perspiration and other symptoms of collapse.
Strophanthus Q (Thrice a day) 10 drops in ┬╜ cup of water: It may be used with advantage after any operation to remove the weakness occurring from bleeding. It tones up the heart also. Dose-10 drops, three times daily.
Veratrum alb. (Thrice a day): Post-operative shock. Body cold. Feeling of weakness. Cold sweat on the forehead. Vomiting on account of surgical shock.
