Homeopathic Medicine for Teething in Infants – Dentition

Aconitum nap. (Four times a day): Fever with restlessness. Child cries due to pain.

Actaea rac. (Thrice a day): Sleeplessness during dentition.

Aethusa cyn. (Thrice a day): Convulsions from teething. Child lies unconscious, with dilated pupils, staring eyes, eyeballs turned downwards, thumbs and fingers bent inwards, cold limbs and body convulsed.

Belladonna (Four times a day): Convulsions during the teething period, followed by sleep.

Borax (Thrice a day): Dentition with aphthae. Children startle at night on any sudden noise. Dread of downward motion.

Calcarea phos. (Thrice a day): In pale children, teeth appear late. During dentition, flatulent diarrhea of greenish thin stools; child refuses to nurse or wants to be nursed all the time.

Chamomilla (Four times a day), Calcarea carb. (Thrice a day): Fever, restlessness, irritability, diarrhea of sour, green and watery stools.

Cimicifuga (Twice a day): Sleeplessness of children during dentition.

Kreosotum (Thrice a day): Teeth often decay after appearing. Very painful and difficult dentition, worse during the night, as a result, the child gets little sleep and wants to be petted all the time. Constipation, stool very hard and dry or diarrhea with dark brown, watery and very offensive stools.

Magnesium carb. (Thrice a day): Diarrhea, stools green and like chopped spinach.

Mercurius sol. (Thrice a day): Great soreness of the gums.

Phytolacca dec. (Thrice a day): Child bites the teeth and gums together during dentition.

Podophyllum (Thrice a day): Child presses the gums together or tries to chew something hard. Diarrhea during dentition.

Terebinthiniae (Thrice a day): During the period of dentition, urine is suppressed. Child screams and cannot sleep. Twitching. Swelling of gums. Otitis.
