Homeopathic Medicine for Vision Problems
In all cases of eye trouble, it is advisable that the eyes are examined by an efficient and reputed eye specialist. When no organic defect is found in the eyes by them and yet the patient has some symptoms of the eyes, one or more of the following remedies may be tried according to the symptoms:
Aconitum nap. (Thrice a day), Belladonna (Thrice a day): Patient becomes almost blind during night but is okay during the day.
Aurum met. (Thrice a day): Lower or upper half is invisible.
Belladonna (Thrice a day): Flashes before the eyes.
Calcarea carb. (Thrice a day): Left or right half not visible.
Carboneum sulph. (Thrice a day): Sensation of a cobweb before the eyes.
Ferrum met. (Thrice a day): The patient can see equally during the day and night.
Hyoscyamus nig. (Thrice a day): Red spots before the eyes.
Lithium carb. (Thrice a day): Right half of an image is invisible.
Lycopodium (Thrice a day): Night blindness with black spots before the eyes.
Phosphorus 200 (One dose only) Repeat after 1 week: Blindness on account of lightening. Give four doses in a month after a gap of a week between each dose. If there is no improvement at all, consult an eye specialist. It is also used for color blindness.
Pilocarpus (Thrice a day): It improves far sightedness, especially when there appears to be a mist before the eyes.
Ruta (Thrice a day): Eyes are fatigued easily on reading or watching TV.
Sepia (Thrice a day): Dimness of vision after coition.
Sulphur (One dose daily): Black spots before the eyes. Patient’s eyes resemble the eyes of an owl, who can see during the night but not during the day. Mist before the eyes.
