Homeopathic Medicine for Vulvodynia
Vulvodynia is the pain of the vulva which is so uncomfortable that woman cannot enjoy sex and her refusal to do so often ends in the breaking of her relationship with her husband. It plagues millions of women and is not understood properly. Many assume from the burning and itching that it is a yeast infection although there is no yeast present. The following remedies have given wonderful results:
Apis mel. (Thrice a day): Swelling of the vulva with stinging pains worse by heat and touch.
Arsenicum alb. (Thrice a day): Pain with burning, which is relieved by application of warm water.
Sepia (Thrice a day): Violent stitching pain travels up from vulva to vagina and is worse from washing and cold, and better by pressure and warmth of the bed. Aversion to coition as the pain eclipses desire.
Sulphur (One dose daily): Burning and itching worse by the heat of the bed, washing and bathing. Better by drawing the legs up.
