Homeopathic Remedies for Brain Hemorrhage – Apoplexy
Aconitum nap. Q: When the brain haemorrhage is sudden due to any cause, give 4-5 drops in water every 15 minutes. It is the first remedy to be employed in sudden and violent attack.
Arnica mont. (Four times a day): Due to a fall or a blow on the head, there is a brain haemorrhage or apoplexy. The face becomes red and puffed up. This remedy gives relief. Bar-c. is also helpful in cerebral haemorrhage.
Asterias rub. (One dose only): Threatened brain haemorrhage when the blood seems to rush to the head.
Baryta carb. 3x (One dose only): Use it for cerebral haemorrhage resulting in one-sided paralysis.
Cuprum met. (One dose only): Cannot speak properly and stammers before brain haemorrhage occurs.
Formica rufa (One dose only): It should be given when the case has been cured. It prevents recurrence.
Glonoinum 3x (One dose only): Threatened apoplexy due to a sun stroke.
Hyoscyamus nig. (One dose only): Falls down suddenly with a scream and red face. Involuntary urination and stools due to brain haemorrhage.
Kalium brom. (One dose only): Sudden rupture of blood vessels in the brain with paralysis and coma.
Kalium phos. 6x (One dose only): Brain fag due to excessive mental work.
Laurocerasus (One dose only): Sudden cough, suffocation, loss of speech and palpitation due to threatened brain haemorrhage or due to actual brain haemorrhage.
Natrium sulph. 200-1M (One dose only) Repeat every 3rd day: Threatened brain haemorrhage due to falls and injuries to the head.
Nux mosch. (One dose only): Affections of the brain occurring in infants during attack of cholera.
Nux vomica (One dose only): Threatened brain haemorrhage with giddiness, headache and fullness of the head, and in alcoholics after heavy drinking.
Opium (One dose only): Coma and oppressed respiration. Lies down unconscious with eyes half open after the brain haemorrhage.
Pinus lamb. 3x (One dose only): Cerebral haemorrhage will be checked by the use of this remedy. It also helps absorption of blood clots. Apoplexy due to hypertension. Give in 10 drop doses.
Strontium carb. (One dose only): Threatened cerebral haemorrhage from shock after surgical operations and high blood pressure or as a sequence of chronic haemorrhage.
Tabacum 200 (One dose daily): Anemia of the brain.
Zincum met. (One dose only): Brain fag. Paralysis of the brain.
