Homeopathic Remedies for Child Abnormalities
Aethusa cyn. (Thrice a day): Children get up in sleep, appearing frightened and start crying without any apparent cause.
Agaricus mus. (Thrice a day): Children are late in learning to talk and walk due to some mental defect.
Alumina (Thrice a day): Delicate due to feeding on artificial baby foods.
Anacardium ori. (Thrice a day): Laughs on serious matters and serious on unimportant matters.
Argentum nit. (Thrice a day): Child looks withered up and dried; looks like an old person. Does not want to go to school.
Baryta carb. (Thrice a day): Children are backward mentally and do not grow and develop. Take cold easily. Aversion to strangers.
Calcarea carb. (Thrice a day): Children are late in learning to walk due to some defect in bones.
Causticum (Thrice a day): Underdeveloped child – late in learning to walk and talk. Child does not want to go to bed alone.
Chamomilla (Thrice a day): Ask for things and refuses to accept them when offered. Impatient and restless child. Cannot tolerate little pain. Girls have very sensitive breasts and an inadvertent touch of the breast, though not developed, causes sensation or pain.
Cypripedium pub. (Thrice a day): Child cries out at night, is wakeful and begins to laugh and play.
Graphites (One dose daily): Children who are impudent, disrespectful, teasing and who laugh at reprimands.
Hepar Sulphuris (Thrice a day): Beats other children; wicked; slightest cause irritates him.
Iodium (Thrice a day): His hunger is never satisfied. Though eats well but still loses flesh. Greedy and irritable. Restless, cannot be still. Generally, has thyroid trouble.
Jalapa (Thrice a day): The child is good all day long but screams and is restless and troublesome at night.
Natrium mur. (Thrice a day): Children are late in learning to talk.
Phosphorus (Thrice a day): Child is unmanageable, wild temper with lean and pale constitution. He picks up a quarrel with everybody without a reason.
Pulsatilla nig. (Thrice a day): The girl has a “weather cock” like character – easily consoled and unstable. Absentminded and fears the opposite sex.
Sepia (Thrice a day): Sad and weeping tendency. Averse to work and family. Indifferent to family members. Emotional.
Silicea 6x (Thrice a day): Child is obstinate and head-strong. Does not listen to parents.
Sulphur 30 (One dose daily): Child hates to be washed. Tries to sit down everywhere though needs to stand. Standing is the worst position for such children.
Tuberculinum 1M (One dose only) Repeat after a month: Child is rude and has a wild temper and becomes violent on trifles. Extremely obstinate.
NOTE: My experience has shown that abnormal activity in a patient result from stressful psychic events and disputes in the family.
