Convulsions – Unconsciousness with Muscular Twitching
Convulsions are violent spasms or a series of jerks in the face, trunk and extremities.
Aethusa cyn. (Thrice a day): Convulsions due to indigestion, colic and anguish. Milk is vomited as curd soon after drinking followed by convulsions and great sleepiness.
Amylenum nit. (Thrice a day): Convulsions during normal delivery.
Arnica mont. (Thrice a day), Hypericum (Thrice a day): Convulsions after giving birth to a child by a cesarean section.
Belladonna (Four times a day): Convulsions in children. Flushed face and throbbing temples. May be due to any cause.
Calcarea phos. (Thrice a day): Convulsions due to rickets or during dentition.
Chamomilla (Thrice a day): Convulsions during teething of children. Stools are green and the child is fretful. Convulsions of children when mother becomes extremely angry while nursing the child. It is also useful for convulsions during dentition.
Cicuta vir. (Thrice a day): After convulsions, the patient does not remember anything on regaining consciousness.
Cina (Thrice a day): Convulsions due to worm symptoms.
Helleborus (Thrice a day): Convulsions due to suppression of measles or other skin troubles.
Hyoscyamus nig. (Thrice a day), Cicuta vir. (Thrice a day): Convulsions during labour.
Nux vomica (Thrice a day): Convulsions from eating indigestible fruits.
Opium (Thrice a day): Convulsions of children when mother is suddenly frightened during their nursing.
Stramonium (Thrice a day): Convulsions due to dreadful dreams.
Zincum phos. (Thrice a day), Aurum mur. (Thrice a day), Cuprum met. (Thrice a day): Use any of these remedies, according to the symptoms, for convulsions of epilepsy.
