Homeopathic Remedy for Dyspepsia – Homeopathic Medicine for Indigestion
It is an impaired gastric function or “upset stomach” due to some disorder of the stomach, characterized by epigastric pain, sometimes burning, nausea and eructations.
Acidum phos. (Thrice a day): The stomach does not work and the food remains in the stomach for a long time after taking. Sour vomiting.
Aethusa cyn. (Thrice a day): Milk not digested and is vomited out in curds as taken. Regurgitation of food about an hour after taking. Dyspeptics want to get relief by eating. They are always munching this food or that food which gives them temporary relief. A time comes when the stomach becomes overworked and refuses to perform its duty. Such type of dyspepsia is relieved by occasional fasting and by taking Aethusa cyn. 3 times a day.
Alfalfa Q (Twice a day): A few 10 drop doses tone up the appetite and digestion.
Ammonium mur. (Thrice a day): Pain in the stomach immediately after eating. Regurgitation of food after eating. Nausea. Alternating diarrhea and constipation.
Anacardium ori. (Thrice a day): Dyspepsia of nervous people. Heartburn relieved by eating.
Antimonium crud. (Thrice a day): Tongue coated white as if white washed. Belching with fluid coming in the mouth and tasting of the ingesta.
Bryonia alba (Thrice a day): Sensation of a stone in the stomach. Sharp pains in the chest and back. Bilious vomiting. White tongue. Headache. Constipation.
Calcarea carb. (Thrice a day): Heartburns, water brash. Abdomen distended and hard. White stools. Great hunger and white coated tongue.
Carbo veg. (Thrice a day): Acidity. Loose bowels. Flatulence and belching. Heartburn. Pain in the chest. Regurgitation of watery fluid from the stomach.
Carica papaya 1x (Four times a day): It furthers digestion especially in those who are allergic to meat and milk. 10 drops a dose, four times a day.
Chamomilla (Thrice a day): Bilious dyspepsia. Tongue yellow, taste bitter. Aversion to warm drinks.
Coffee (Thrice a day): A spoon or two of strong expresso coffee will often relieve immediately an acute indigestion from over-eating and when the food taken remains in the stomach for a long time without digestion.
Graphites 6 (Twice a day): Aversion to meat. Sweets nauseate. Hot drinks disagree. Nausea and vomiting after each meal. Morning sickness during menstruation. Burning in stomach causing hunger. Pain in the stomach temporarily relieved by eating and drinking hot milk.
Ipecacuanha (Thrice a day): Gastric symptoms from and after indulgence in rich food as pastry, pork, sweets, ice creams, etc. Constant nausea and vomiting.
Iris vers. (Thrice a day): Nausea and vomiting of watery and extremely sour fluid, especially early in the morning. Burning in the whole alimentary canal.
Kalium bich. (Thrice a day): Cutting pain in the stomach soon after eating. Food lies in the stomach without digestion giving a sensation of heaviness and load in the stomach.
Kalium carb. (Thrice a day): Dyspepsia of old people. Abdomen distended after eating a little. Heartburn.
Lycopodium (Thrice a day): Great flatulence in the abdomen. Feels sleepy after dinner. Water-brash. Tongue coated white.
Magnesium phos. (Thrice a day): Sleeplessness on account of indigestion.
Natrium carb. (Thrice a day): Old dyspeptics always belching. Very weak digestion. A slightest error of food causes indigestion.
Natrium mur. (Thrice a day): Indigestion of smokers. Bitter taste. Blistered tongue, loss of taste. Heartburn with intense thirst. Constipation.
Nux vomica (Thrice a day): Indigestion from indigestible food and alcohol. Cramping and spasmodic pain. Vomiting. Constipating. Flatulence of hysterical women especially during pregnancy.
Plumbum met. (Thrice a day): Lead dyspepsia in people suffering already with numbness of the extremities. Excessive colic, radiating to all parts of the body. Abdominal wall feels drawn by a spring to the spine.
Pulsatilla nig. (Thrice a day): Indigestion from eating fried food and meats. Tongue moist and thickly coated white.
Robinia (Thrice a day): Indigestion due to acidity.
Sanguinaria (Thrice a day): Tongue yellowish-white. Foul eructations. Nausea not relieved by vomiting. Saliva increased. Bitter vomiting.
Sepia (Thrice a day): Dyspepsia of tabasco eaters and smokers. Everything tastes salty.
Vanadium 6 (Thrice a day): Indigestion after gastro enteric inflammation. Three doses a day for a few days, improves digestion quickly. It has the same effects in early tuberculosis.
