Homeopathic Treatment for Eructations – Belching
Eructation is voiding of gas or of a small quantity of acid fluid from the stomach through the mouth.
Abies nig. (Thrice a day): Eructations with sensation of a painful lump at the epigastrium. Belching and pain in the stomach after eating.
Aethusa cyn. (Thrice a day): Regurgitation of food after about an hour of eating. Vomiting relieves the distress.
Agaricus mus. (Thrice a day): Empty eructations, tasting of apples.
Antimonium crud. (Thrice a day): Belching with taste of food taken. The tongue is coated white. Indigestion and constant belching.
Argentum nit. (Thrice a day): Belching is explosive in flatulency states. People present dried up looks and constitution.
Asafoetida 3x (Thrice a day): Great difficulty in bringing up the wind. Hysterical eructations which are loud enough. The pressure of the wind is always upwards.
Calcarea carb. (Thrice a day): Loud belching with heartburn.
Carbo veg. (Thrice a day): Distention of abdomen with eructations tasting of food taken. Heartburn may or may not be present. Sensation of heaviness and fullness in the stomach. Rancid, sour or putrid eructations, after eating or drinking with temporary relief on belching.
Carbolicum acidum (Thrice a day): Constant belching with nausea and vomiting dark olive green. Belching with bad taste and breath.
Chamomilla Q (Twice a day): A few drops of it in warm water taken during the attack gives immediate relief after 2 or 3 doses.
Cyclamen (Thrice a day): Hiccup like eructations worse after taking fatty food. Taste salty.
Ferrum met. (Thrice a day): Eructations after taking food. Belching gives a sense of relief.
Laurocerasus (Thrice a day): Eructations tasting of bitter almonds.
Lycopodium (Thrice a day): Eructations rise upto the pharynx where they bum for hours.
Natrium carb. (Thrice a day): Old dyspeptics always belching.
Natrium phos. (Thrice a day): Sour eructations and taste.
Nux mosch. (Thrice a day): Belching in nervous patients. Abdomen is bloated. Hiccough. Stomach is bloated.
Osmium (Thrice a day): Eructations tasting of radish, taken a while ago. Smell is foul.
Phosphorus (Twice a day): Belching large quantities of wind after eating.
Psorinum (One dose daily): Eructations tasting of eggs although eggs were not eaten.
Pulsatilla nig. (Thrice a day): Nausea with bitter taste.
Sulphur (One dose daily): Eructations with particles of food coming into the mouth. Taste is very sour. Great acidity. Drinks much and eats little. Putrid eructations. Empty belching worse after taking milk.
Thuja occ. (Thrice a day): Rancid belching after taking fatty food.
Veratrum alb. (Thrice a day): Loud and violent retching and vomiting. Cold perspiration on the forehead.
