Side Effects Of Homeopathic Medicine [ Is homeopathy safe? ]

It is important for all of us to know the side effect of the medicines we take. Here we will learn about the side effects of Homeopathy.

With experience in my career of being a Doctor, I have seen that 90% of the patient says that homeopathy has no side effects but then again ask the question that will there be any side effects? Mostly, by side effects we mean whether it has any bad effect or not, if the medicine we are taking will have any wrong effect or not, if it will be harmful or not and if this medicine will effect our liver, kidney, blood, sex etc or not.

In order to know the side effects first, it is important for us to know the effects of medicine. If we want to know the side effects of a medicine then we need to know that the medicines which we are taking like Allopathy, Homeopathy or Yunani works where and how in our body. For example, We take a homeopathic medicine named ‘Rauvolfia Serpentina’ which effects our blood pressure and is very effective in high blood pressure. Rauvolfia Serpentina is more effective in heart, the veins and arteries coming out of it and then the mind. This medicine works in all the three places and keep the blood pressure in control. These are the effects of Rauvolfia Serpentina. However, if this medicine does not show its effect in the places mentioned above and causes problems in other areas then this is called side effects.

I would like you all to know that there is no side effects of homeopathic medicine be it any kind of homeopathic medicine like ‘Mother Tincture’, ‘Dilution’ or bio- combination.

In homeopathy there is ‘aggravation’ and that also in few conditions. There are few mineral kingdom homeopathic medicines – Sulphur, Graphites and Arsenic in which there can be aggravation. If you give any constitutional medicine and it is not correct then there can be a little aggravation but the side effects are not 100%. Post consuming the homeopathic medicine, if the symptoms increases then it is called ‘Homeopathic Aggravation’.

We all are aware that the Allopathy medicines have more side effects. Sometimes, it is seen that when we take paracetamol, diclofenac sodium, penicillin or any hard antibiotic then it effects our kidney and liver. You feel like vomiting and acidity in your stomach but no such side effects will be seen or felt in homeopathic medicine. For example, we take ‘Sulphur’ for skin disease and if this medicine aggravates then either you will feel irritation in your skin or your skin will become red but it will not have its effect in any other body part. In homeopathy, there can be little side effects but it will never effect any other body parts.
