Homeopathic Medicine for Dwarfishness

Condition of being abnormally small may be hereditary when it is mostly incurable. It may be due to dysfunction of the pituitary, thyroid gland, etc., when treatment of the affected gland may cure the disease. It can be due to the diseases of the skeleton mostly that of the bones of the legs where again a proper treatment can cure. If no such defect is located, the following treatment is suggested:

Baryta carb. 3x (Thrice a day): If the patient is plump (i.e. if he is moderately fat) give this remedy thrice daily for 30 days or repeat the treatment till the patient is cured.

Baryta phos. 3x (Thrice a day): If the patient is thin and lean, use this remedy instead of Baryta carb. 3x or repeat the treatment till the patient is cured.

Bacillinum: It is useful for increasing height. The treatment in such cases should be started by the use of this remedy.

Cod liver oil: A massage of this oil at night is also helpful in the treatment of dwarfish and emaciated babies.

Medorrhinum 1M (One dose only): Children do not grow normally and remain dwarfish, under-developed and under-sized.

Syphilinum 1000 (One dose only): After 24 hours of administration of Tuberculinum, give this remedy and again wait for 24 hours.

Thyreoidinum 3x (Thrice a day): Arrested development of children – eats well yet loses flesh on account of thyroid trouble.

Tuberculinum 200 (One dose only): Start the treatment with this remedy. No other remedy should be given for the next 24 hours.
