LEGIONNAIRES DISEASE
This illness is a form of pneumonia found naturally. People are exposed to the bacteria when they breathe in air contaminated with droplets of water containing the organism. Symptoms include high fever, chills and cough as well as fatigue, headache, muscle pain, chest pain and loss of appetite. This bacteria best thrives in warm water and often spreads through air conditioning water and plumbing systems. The treatment is the same as for pneumonia and on symptoms.
